Adult immunisations are essential for several reasons:

Our Adult Immunisation Services

Protect your health with our comprehensive immunisation services for adults.

Pneumococcal Vaccine (PPV)
  • Recommended for adults over 65 and those with certain health conditions.

  • Protects against pneumococcal diseases, including pneumonia and meningitis.

COVID-19 Vaccine
  • Offered according to current national guidelines.

  • Protects against severe illness and complications from COVID-19.

Influenza (Flu) Vaccine
  • Recommended annually for all adults, especially those over 50 years old.

  • Reduces the risk of hospitalisation and death from flu-related complications.

Free flu and Covid-19 vaccines are available at our GP practice for people aged 60 and older, pregnant women, healthcare workers and those living in nursing homes or long-term care facilities. People meeting the following criteria are also eligible:

Flu Vaccine:

  • Children aged 2 to 17 years

  • Carers

  • People with certain health conditions that put them at higher risk of flu

  • Those in regular contact with pigs, poultry or waterfowl

COVID-19 Vaccine:

  • People aged 6 months to 59 years with immunocompromise or medical conditions associated with higher risk of COVID-19 complications
